Jewish Family Service of MetroWest The Jewish Family Service of MetroWest is a comprehensive, non-discriminatory social service agency serving the Metrowest Jewish community. They have highly trained and caring staff consisting of clinical social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists and consultants. They are available to serve clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

- Substance Abuse
- Hebrew Free Loan
- The Hebrew Free Loan (HFL) provides interest-free personal loans up to $2,000 and $20,000 for a business-related loan.
Metrowest HELPS Jewish Family Service of MetroWest A crisis hotline number accepts calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will connect callers to all services: 973-765-9050. Those seeking services can also email: intake@jfsmetrowest.org- JFS offers mental health services, including counseling and case management services to children, adults, seniors and families.
- JFS is a resource and referral link. Clients are also referred to other agencies in the community for any needed services and are assisted with applications for local, State and federal financial assistance programs for which they may be eligible, as well as for Hebrew Free Loans.
- As an adjunct to clinical services and only after other avenues have been exhausted, JFS may help clients with emergency financial assistance on an individual basis. A financial assessment is conducted to insure that appropriate help is provided that will sustain a client through a time limited crisis. For long term financial assistance, clients will be referred to appropriate entitlement and budgeting programs.

JVS offers Career Counseling for individuals making a career change, who are unsure about their transferable skills and which career path to pursue, and for women who are re-entering the workforce after an extended period at home. The service includes the administration and interpretation of formal career assessment tools, interviews and self assessment to identify transferable skills from work, volunteer and life experiences, realistic goal setting and development of a career action plan to attain career goals and is offered on a sliding fee scale. Job Placement Assistance is available for individuals who know the type of job in which they are interested, but do not know how to obtain such a position. Clients are taught specific job seeking skills, including: cover letter and résumé preparation; networking strategies; interview techniques; and how to conduct an efficient and effective job search.
