About The Jewish Job Network
The Jewish Job Network (JJN) was established to help individuals who submit a Job Seeker form on the JJN website cope with their current circumstances, network and find jobs. JJN’s primary focus is to assist job seekers who are members of JJN-participating synagogues or parents of students in JJN-participating schools in West Orange and Livingston. Job seekers from those organizations will receive priority assistance from JJN but we will try to serve any job seeker who submits a form on the JJN website.
JJN maintains an active group on the business oriented social networking site LinkedIn. We strongly urge you to become a member. To do so please click here. Any questions contact: linkedin@jewishjobnetwork.com. (A primer for using LinkedIn can be found in the webcasts section of this website.)
JJN is an organization that is staffed only by volunteers. There are no compensated employees. All of JJN’s services to Job Seekers and employers are provided at no cost.
We ask that all who can participate in this important endeavor please do so, in one or both of the following categories:
-
Job Seekers – those who are looking for work;
-
Volunteers – those who have connections, know about job openings, know others in the field, can expand the networks of Job Seekers or get them an interview; those who can advise/mentor/coach Job Seekers and help them with résumé writing, interviewing skills, starting a business, providing consulting services, job retraining, financial planning, etc.
If you are looking for work, please do not feel ashamed or embarrassed. We are here for you as a support network to assist you during these difficult times. If the Job Seekers and Volunteers all pull on the oars together, the ship will continue to move forward as we all help each other. If you need help with financial planning, Yeshiva tuitions, financial aid, or interest-free loans, the first step is to ask.
If you are a Job Seeker or if you are interested in becoming a Volunteer, please follow the instructions below. If you have any questions, you can contact us at: info@JewishJobNetwork.com
May Hashem hear our tefillot for a return of a parnassah tovah for all those in need.
